Kaci Gibson said it first...

I use to be super stingy with everything. Someone would be like I am going to use your flour to make bread. So the logical thing to do was to somehow steal my own flour just so they couldn't use it. It doesn't make sense right? But it happened. One time my friends and I stuck into our apartment after they left to the store and hid the flour so our roommates couldn't use it. Obviously they called us and were like WE KNOW THE FLOUR WAS HERE and now it's not. So I lied and made some BS story up. I ended up giving the flour to some kid and was like take this to my apartment and say, " Thank you for letting me use your flour." Or at the restaurant I use to work at people would always get flowers when one of us would be having a bad day. They would always try and get me to contribute and I would be like what for? I never would. I would reply with yeah I will bring it tomorrow. But they all knew I wouldn't. Until this past summer I realized that when you do nice things for people YOU feel better.
Tylynn, Skyler, and Shawnee ALWAYS did nice things for people. One time I found out some not-so-good news at college and they drove from Nephi and brought me flowers. I didn't ask them to. They just did. Whenever someone was having a bad day they would make sure they that person knew they were important and that they had a friend. So I tried being like them. This past summer my favorite janitor's son passed away, and it's not like I talked to Carla everyday since I graduated but I just loved her. Everything about her. When I found this out I was like Carla needs to know that I love her! So I bought $3.00 in carnations (NOT A LOT) and I went to her house and she opened the door and just hugged me and cried. I knew that nothing I said was going to make her feel better, but she at least she knows that I care about her.
Tylynn, Shawnee, and Skyler would never ask for anything in return they just have good hearts. If they were going to Conoco and they knew I was the hostess for the night they would automatically just get me a soda. It wasn't because I was having a bad day. It's because they're genuine people.
Now when people are having a bad day I want them to know that I CARE ABOUT THEM. So I leave stupid notes on their car with a soda. It's nothing big but I hope it makes them feel a little better.
